[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) will hold the 2020 Gangnam-gu Village Community Resident Public Contest Project Performance Sharing Meeting, "Filling the Heart with the Village," starting from the 11th.
The performance sharing meeting begins with a forum titled "Pandemic, but the Village That Does Not Stop," featuring three experts and activists discussing "The Social Positive Functions (Psychological Comfort) of Village Communities Amid the COVID-19 Crisis." From the 14th to 15th, a roundtable discussion called "2020 Village Project Managers Random Meeting," where residents participating in the public contest project share their achievements, will take place.
The entire event will be conducted online using the video conferencing platform Zoom in a non-face-to-face format.
Additionally, starting from the 14th, an online performance sharing exhibition titled "2020 Gangnam Village Scenery," showcasing texts, photos, and videos of activities from 81 resident public contest teams, will be available on the "2020 Village Project Managers Random Meeting" event homepage.
Meanwhile, the Village Community Resident Public Contest Project is a program where residents independently plan, propose, and execute projects for regional development. This year, 81 teams participated and completed projects across five categories: Neighbor Making, Community Meeting Activation, Village Seniors, Alley-Centered, and Village Table.
