Gwangju Bank Holds Kimjang Sharing Volunteer Activity
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 9th that President Song Jong-wook and about 30 new employees participated in a kimchi-sharing volunteer activity at Mudeung Childcare Center in Unnim-dong, Dong-gu, Gwangju.
Kim Eun-young, head of the Gwangju branch of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, and Jeong Eun-gang, director of Mudeung Childcare Center, also joined the volunteer activity. Gwangju Bank donated 7 million won to Mudeung Childcare Center as a sponsorship fund for the kimchi-sharing event.
The new employees of Gwangju Bank, who were finally selected in the second half of 2020 new employee recruitment and are undergoing training until the 31st, personally made kimchi to share with the underprivileged in the region, embodying Gwangju Bank’s corporate culture of returning more than 10% of net profit to the local community through various social contribution activities.
