[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Daegu City announced on the 7th that it will conduct an online citizen vote ahead of the final selection of the 'Daegu Delivery App Construction Idea Contest' to realize a platform created together with citizens.
Previously, Daegu City decided to establish a Daegu-type delivery platform operated by the private sector to alleviate problems of food brokerage services (delivery apps) and is currently recruiting service providers. In this regard, an idea contest was held over the past month to increase citizen interest.
As a result of the contest, 498 proposals were submitted. After document screening by the responsible department, 7 candidates for the event contest type and 6 candidates for the policy idea contest type were selected. Daegu City will decide the final selection by reflecting 30% of the citizen vote results through the policy proposal site 'Talk Daegu' and 70% of the evaluation results by the delivery app construction task force.
The online voting will be held for 7 days from the 7th to the 14th through the voting section on the Daegu City website's Talk Daegu. Among the participants, mobile gift certificates worth 10,000 KRW will be randomly awarded.
