11 Village Residents Confirmed in Bulk in Cheongyang, Chungnam
[Asia Economy (Cheongyang) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] In Cheongyang, Chungnam, 11 village residents were simultaneously diagnosed with COVID-19.
According to Chungnam Province and Cheongyang County on the 7th, a group of residents in a village in Cheongyang tested positive for COVID-19 on that day.
It was confirmed that they had contact (meal) at the village senior center with a high school student and family who were confirmed positive on the 1st.
The quarantine authorities explained that after the high school student was confirmed positive, COVID-19 tests were conducted on 35 people, resulting in 11 confirmed cases.
The total number of confirmed cases related to the high school student is currently understood to be 17.
