Online Submission Service for Enrollment Notification for Elementary School Children
From December 1 to 14, Service Available on Seoul City Website...Online Inquiry and Submission to Respective Elementary School for Guardians of School-Age Children
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Nowon-gu (District Mayor Oh Seung-rok) will implement the 'Online Submission Service for School Enrollment Notification' for elementary school enrollment children for the 2021 academic year starting December 1.
The 'Online School Enrollment Notification Service' allows guardians of enrollment children to check the elementary school they will enter and the preliminary assembly date on the Seoul city website, and then submit the school enrollment notification online to the respective elementary school.
Previously, parents had the inconvenience of receiving the notification and submitting it directly to the school, but since the 2017 academic year, online inquiry and submission have become possible.
Next March, the target elementary school enrollment children in Nowon-gu are approximately 3,800 six-year-old children born between January 1, 2014, and December 31, 2014.
The online service period is from 10 a.m. on December 1 to 6 p.m. on December 14. The service can be used by the household head, parents, grandparents, or other guardians of the enrollment children.
Users can access the Seoul Online Civil Service website and verify their identity with a public certificate to use the service.
When using the service, guidance documents such as the ‘Vaccination Notification for Enrollment Children’ and the ‘After-school Care Service Demand Survey’ necessary for children entering elementary school are also provided.
For detailed information regarding the service, inquiries can be made to the local community service center of the resident’s address.
If the online service is not used, the enrollment notification will be delivered through the local community service center staff or neighborhood leaders from December 15 to 20 as before. Parents must submit the received notification to the designated elementary school.
