Jeonnam National University Hospital announced on the 25th that this decision was made after meetings with quarantine authorities and the heads of in-hospital medical departments.
The emergency room was expected to enter limited operation starting today, but the closure has been extended by one more week.
The hospital explained that the additional suspension of operations is a measure considering the situation in Main Building 1, which is under cohort isolation.
Face-to-face consultations will operate normally from the 26th. All departments will accept appointments for follow-up and first-time patients.
