Gwangju Buk-gu Selected as Top Institution in Carbon Point Program Operation Evaluation

Buk-gu received high evaluations in all indicators including ▲achievement rate of target households ▲achievement rate of target complexes ▲promotion and education performance ▲greenhouse gas reduction amount.
This year, Buk-gu actively promoted the Carbon Point System targeting apartment complexes and local stores, taking the lead in practicing low-carbon living.
In particular, among a total of 187,615 households, about 115,800 households (61.7%) joined the Carbon Point System, contributing to the activation of the system.
Additionally, campaigns encouraging Carbon Point System enrollment and reducing greenhouse gases were promoted to spread a low-carbon living culture in the region.
