SC Jeil Bank Holds 'Economic®Financial Special Lecture for Visually Impaired College Students Starting Their Careers'
Employees of SC First Bank conducted a "Financial Literacy Seminar for Young Adults" for about 20 visually impaired college students at the Siloam Welfare Center for the Visually Impaired in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, on the 20th.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] SC First Bank announced on the 23rd that it conducted an "Economic®Finance Special Lecture for New Employees" for about 20 visually impaired university students at the Siloam Welfare Center for the Visually Impaired in Gwanak-gu, Seoul.
The special lecture held on the 20th was conducted for the first time targeting university students about to enter society, with the purpose of supporting the formation of proper economic perspectives and fostering independence among visually impaired youth. The main topics included "the difference between savings and investment," "credit and loans," and "precautions when purchasing insurance and insurance necessary for new employees."
The instructors were employees belonging to the bank’s "Diversity and Inclusion Committee" and the Euddeum Family Love Network, who led vivid lectures based on their diverse banking work experiences. The lecturers also held a Q&A session where they answered students' questions with detailed and friendly explanations.
Minji Lee (24), who took the course, said, "Most of my friends around me are also very interested in important economic®finance fields in daily life," and added, "The bank employees explained meticulously based on their field experience, making it easier to understand and feel more approachable."
