On the 21st, Gyeongnam Province announced that a woman in her 40s in Changwon (Gyeongnam case 456), a woman in her 40s in Jinju (457), and a man in his 70s in Sacheon (458) tested positive.
In Hadong, a woman in her 60s (459), a man in his 60s (460), and a Chinese woman in her 50s (461) were confirmed positive.
In Jinhae-gu, Changwon, an 80-year-old woman (462), two men in their 30s (463, 464), and a man in his 20s (465) tested positive.
In the afternoon, a woman in her 30s in Sacheon (466) and a woman in her 30s in Changwon (467) were additionally confirmed.
Case 456 is the spouse of case 453, who was confirmed positive after attending a social gathering at the 'Hansushi' restaurant in Changwon.
Case 457 is a family member of a high school student in Jinju (case 451) who tested positive the previous day. Among the four family members of this high school student, two, including the student, were confirmed positive.
Case 458 was confirmed positive while in self-quarantine after contact with an elderly couple in Sacheon. Cases 459 and 460 had contact with case 403, who was confirmed positive and linked to a middle school in Hadong County, at a restaurant and medical institution.
Case 461 is a restaurant worker who served cases 443 and 444, confirmed positive and related to the Hadong County middle school cluster on the 19th.
Case 462 in Changwon also had contact with case 450, who was confirmed positive after attending the 'Hansushi' restaurant gathering.
Cases 463 to 465, all in their 30s and navy personnel, had contact with navy case 446. So far, four cases have been confirmed in the navy unit.
Health authorities are currently investigating the movements and contacts of the additional 12 confirmed cases.
Accordingly, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the province has risen to 464. Of these, 348 have been discharged, and 166 are currently hospitalized.

Separately, five individuals who were tested for COVID-19 at screening clinics in the province and stayed in their residences in Busan were confirmed positive today and classified as cases 2 to 6 in the 'Others' category. They are hospitalized at Busan Medical Center and managed by Busan city health authorities.
