BTS "Billboard Hot 100 No.1, Captured Unfiltered Reactions"
The group BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) reveals their genuine reactions when they reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
On the 20th at 11 a.m., BTS held a global press conference for their new album 'BE (Deluxe Edition)'. Except for Suga, who is recovering from an injury, six members?RM, Jin, V, Jimin, J-Hope, and Jungkook?attended.
The topic of being the first Korean act to top the Billboard Hot 100 was inevitably discussed. That emotion is also captured in the album’s fourth track, "Skit." RM said, "We included a skit for the first time in three years, something we have consistently done since our debut. While we could have planned it conceptually, it didn’t feel right. So we naturally recorded the unfiltered moment when we hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100, then edited and included it. When you listen, you’ll vividly feel how we were feeling at that moment."
Jungkook added, "The announcement of the Billboard Hot 100 number one coincided with a recording schedule. It was a sudden situation for us, so even on the day we recorded the skit, we were all over the place. I don’t even remember exactly what I said; you have to listen to the skit. It’s a skit that captures such a thrilling and overwhelming moment, so it holds great meaning for us."
Meanwhile, BTS’s new album 'BE (Deluxe Edition)' will be released worldwide on the 20th at 2 p.m. (Korean time).
