National Tax Service Allows Price Inquiry Before Official Announcement of Standard Market Prices for Officetels and Commercial Buildings
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] The National Tax Service announced on the 20th that before officially announcing the 'Standard Market Price for Officetels and Commercial Buildings' effective from January 1 next year, it will allow owners and stakeholders to preview the prices and collect their opinions.
On the same day, the National Tax Service made available for preview on its website and Hometax the proposed standard market price per square meter by unit for officetels and commercial buildings of a certain scale (3,000㎡ or 100 units) located in the Seoul metropolitan area (Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi), the five major metropolitan cities (Daejeon, Gwangju, Daegu, Busan, Ulsan), and Sejong Special Self-Governing City, which can be separately registered by building and unit.
To preview, users can click the banner titled '2021 Officetel and Commercial Building Standard Market Price Preview and Opinion Submission Before Official Announcement' on the initial screen of the National Tax Service website or click the banner at the bottom of the standard market price inquiry page on the National Tax Service Hometax.
By entering the location and unit number of the building to be viewed, users can check the proposed standard market price for that specific unit.
If there are objections to the proposed standard market price, opinions can be submitted online through the price preview and opinion submission inquiry page before the official announcement, or by downloading the opinion submission form and submitting it in person or by mail to the relevant tax office.
Preview and opinion submissions are available from today until the 10th of next month, and submitted opinions will be reviewed separately and individually notified by December 31.
