[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Lotte Card announced on the 17th that it has launched the 'Lotte Check Card (Youth Postpaid Transportation)' equipped with a postpaid transportation function for teenagers.
This card is designed for teenagers aged 12 to 18 and features a postpaid transportation function. Teenagers can freely use major buses and subways nationwide up to the monthly postpaid transportation limit of 50,000 KRW. Additionally, regardless of usage performance last month, 0.2% of the payment amount is accumulated as L.Points.
In particular, teenagers residing in Gyeonggi-do can register this card as a transportation support card on the Gyeonggi-do Youth Transportation Expense Support Portal and receive a refund of transportation expenses used within Gyeonggi-do up to 120,000 KRW per year (maximum 60,000 KRW per half-year) in local currency.

To issue the card, a legal guardian can apply through the Lotte Card Customer Center or Lotte Card Center with the relevant documents. The Youth Postpaid Transportation Card can only be issued one per person, integrated across all domestic card companies.
