Obibrew, Gu Ja-beom Promoted to Senior Vice President and Appointed Head of Legal and Policy Public Relations Division
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] OB Beer announced on the 16th that Gu Ja-beom, Vice President in charge of legal affairs, has been promoted and appointed as Senior Vice President. Senior Vice President Gu will oversee policy and public relations duties in addition to his previous legal and compliance monitoring roles.
Gu Ja-beom, who joined OB Beer in 2007 as Director of Legal Affairs, has served as Managing Director, Executive Director, and Vice President in the legal department, leading various areas including legal affairs, compliance monitoring, M&A, IT, and strategy. Since 2014, he has also served as a registered director of OB Beer.
Before joining OB Beer, Senior Vice President Gu worked as a lawyer at the New York law firm Shevin, Killi & Hatchis, the law firm Gwangjang, and Samsung Thales.

Senior Vice President Gu graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Political Science and from Syracuse University College of Law, obtaining his New York State Bar license in 1996.
