According to the distribution industry on the 7th, Emart is celebrating its 27th anniversary by expanding the 'Limited Deal' event, which offers about 10 products each month at special limited prices, to 18 items, and is also discounting fresh foods, daily necessities, and winter clothing. The Limited Deal is an event where Emart lowers the prices of desired products to the lowest level through pre-planning with partner companies and reducing its own margins.
Key items include seasonal persimmons (8-12 pieces), offered as a one-plus-one (1+1) deal at 5,980 KRW for a limited quantity of 100,000 bags. Post Coco Ball Jungle Expedition (550g) is available in a limited quantity of 50,000 units, with a 50% discount when purchasing two. Chilsung Cider and Chilsung Cider Low Sugar (each 1.5L) are bundled and sold at 2,980 KRW for a limited quantity of 40,000 units, which is 30% cheaper. TS Luxury Shampoo (500g) is offered at 17,500 KRW for 40,000 units, a 50% discount, and Oak Smoked Eggs (20 pieces) are available at 3,990 KRW for 75,000 units, also 50% off.
Daily necessities are also on a dramatic sale. Household items such as Cody Beige Soft Toilet Paper (30m*30 rolls), Jayeonpong Kitchen Detergent, Aura Delight Fabric Softener, and Ryo Jin Gyeolmo Hair Loss Prevention Shampoo, as well as processed foods like CJ Haechandle Taeyangcho Gold Gochujang (1.45kg), Kellogg's Almond Flakes (600g), Lotte Binz (204g), and Ssalrobyeol Original, are all available as 1+1 deals.
Fresh foods are discounted until the 11th. First, in collaboration with the Korean Pork Producers Association, they are promoting the consumption of less preferred parts such as pork hind legs, front legs, and ribs to support farmers. The total quantity is 150 tons, with 60 tons of hind legs, which is usually a month's supply, prepared for a one-week event. Grade 1 or higher pork hind leg meat is sold at 380 KRW per 100g, a 45% discount, and front leg and rib meat are sold at about 780 KRW each, with discounts of approximately 20-30%. Additionally, Shinsegae Point members can purchase all Korean beef pack steaks at a 20% discount and all antibiotic-free chicken parts at up to 30% off. Gyeonggi rice Koshihikari 10kg is offered at 31,900 KRW, 10,000 KRW off.
Seafood is sold at up to 20% off, with discounts up to 10,000 KRW for live abalone, Jeju silver hairtail, and fresh squid when Shinsegae Point members verify their membership through the 'Korea Real Seafood Festival' jointly held with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries. The 20% discounted prices are 7,960 KRW for 5 live abalones (medium size, about 280g each), which is about half the regular price, 3,920 KRW for Jeju silver hairtail (large, about 300g), and 4,880 KRW for one domestic fresh squid (about 300g).
Customers who purchase over 100,000 KRW with event cards will receive an 'Ansim eMart' set containing masks, hand sanitizing wet wipes, and antibacterial cleaners, with 98,000 sets available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lotte Mart is selling all product categories, including fresh foods, processed foods, and daily necessities, at up to half price or as 1+1 deals until the 11th. L.Point members can purchase Australian and American beef at discounted prices. Russian Red King Crab, with a supply of 10 tons, is sold at 6,980 KRW per 100g until the 8th.
