Previously, this case was subject to a directive from Minister of Justice Chu Mi-ae, who exercised her authority to instruct Prosecutor General Yoon not to interfere with the investigation. The allegation centers on the fact that when Kim's Kobana Contents held an exhibition in June last year, the number of sponsors increased significantly after Yoon, then the head of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, was nominated as Prosecutor General, resulting in a large amount of sponsorship funds.
