[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The Korea International Trade Association (KITA) held the "4th Online Job Fair ? Korea-China Trade Sector" on the 2nd to support employment for Korean students studying in China.
The online job fair is an event jointly organized by KITA, the Korean Embassy in China, KOTRA, and the Korean Chamber of Commerce in China to help overseas Korean students in China overcome difficulties in career selection and employment. Starting with the diplomatic sector in July, job fairs were held in August for public institutions and in September for content creators, and will continue to be held once a month until the end of this year.
At the fair, Shim Ki-won, team leader of KITA’s Beijing branch, gave a lecture on "Various Occupations and Prospects in the Korea-China Trade Sector." Following this, Ko Hyun-min, PM of LG Sangsa’s Beijing office, introduced a case from last March when, as COVID-19 rapidly spread in Korea, they secured 10,000 protective suits and sent them to the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region within five days, showcasing the company’s extensive network and execution capabilities, while also sharing his past job preparation experiences.
