"Early Christmas" Galleria Department Store Creates 'Fendi Chandelier Tree'
Luxury Hall East Plaza to Open on the 5th
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Department stores have swiftly launched marketing strategies in preparation for the year-end peak season of Christmas.
Galleria Department Store, which has showcased luxury brands and Christmas sculptures every year, announced on the 1st that it will collaborate with the global fashion house ‘Fendi’ to present a large chandelier tree sculpture. The chandelier tree sculpture will be unveiled at the Galleria Luxury Hall East Plaza starting from the 5th.
Additionally, Christmas gift shops will be available at Galleria Luxury Hall and Gwanggyo until the end of the year. The theme of this year’s Christmas gift shop is ‘Winter Bloom,’ designed to convey the message of ‘hope embodied by winter flowers blooming brightly despite the cold,’ reflecting the current COVID-19 pandemic situation. Accordingly, products targeting people staying at home are featured prominently.
Notably, Galleria’s signature private brand ‘Galleria Cashmere’ offers products that actively reflect the ‘one-mile wear’ trend, meaning clothing worn within a one-mile radius of home. Representative products include various loungewear sets comfortable enough to wear like pajamas and suitable for nearby outings, cashmere knit mufflers, and tightly woven jacquard pattern scarves.
Beyond cashmere, unique objects that can be used as interior decor are also available. These include ▲ a Yutnori set painted with Christmas colors in lacquer, created in collaboration with the fabric lifestyle brand ‘Hoho-dang,’ ▲ ‘Habirium,’ which preserves plants intact in bottles filled with special solutions, ▲ flower diffusers that can be reused as vases after use, developed in collaboration with the living brand ‘Menuha,’ and ▲ dessert cutlery sets and plates created in partnership with ceramic artist Kim Ha-yoon, famous for the pottery brand ‘Another Ceramic.’
