7 New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Gangnam-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 28th, 7 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Gangnam-gu, increasing the total confirmed cases to 326, including 4 additional cases reported the previous afternoon.
First, two residents of Cheongdam-dong, each family members of previously confirmed Gangnam-gu residents, tested positive today at the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center. One resident of Yeoksam-dong, who had contact with a confirmed case from another region, was confirmed positive at the Songpa-gu Public Health Center and was transferred to the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center.
Gangnam-gu confirmed that 8 residents of Dogok-dong tested positive in relation to a cluster infection at ‘Lucky Sauna’ (213 Nonhyeon-ro) on this day and the previous day, and is conducting a detailed epidemiological investigation to identify additional contacts.
Visitors to ‘Lucky Sauna’ from the 18th to the 26th are urged to visit the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center by the 30th to undergo mandatory testing.
