This job project was a result of the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s regional industry-customized job creation support project, which was a job training and employment linkage program reflecting the characteristics of local industries.
The city is receiving recognition for contributing to job creation by promoting seven projects, including region-industry-customized job projects such as ▲Soldering Specialist Skill Training Course ▲Advanced Defense Industry Specialist Training Project, which are employment-linked vocational training projects considering the main industries and labor market characteristics of Changwon City.
In addition, remarkable achievements were made in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s region-led youth job projects that help young people settle in the region through comprehensive support for jobs, housing, and welfare. So far, a total of seven projects have been promoted.
Among these, ▲Changwon Youth Shipbuilding Workforce Training Project ▲Changwon City Strategic Industry Revival Project ▲Changwon National Industrial Complex Youth Technology Startup Specialization Project attracted attention as exemplary cases that secure future talents linked to Changwon’s strategic industries such as shipbuilding, hydrogen, and defense industries, and help local youth settle.
As a life-cycle type job measure, various support policies such as the city’s own projects ▲Changwon Middle-aged Customized Vocational Ability Training Project ▲Youth Employment Incentive ▲Technical Trainee Employment Incentive were provided, receiving high responses from both recruiting companies seeking middle-aged and youth local talents and job seekers.
