Eunpyeong-gu Health Center Selected for LH Corporation Public Building Green Remodeling Project Led by Ministry of Land, Securing 698 Million KRW in National and City Funding
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu Public Health Center announced on the 20th that it has been selected for the public building green remodeling contest project promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport as part of the Korean New Deal policy, securing 698 million KRW in national and city funds.
This project aims to improve the energy performance and indoor air quality of public buildings used by vulnerable groups. Eunpyeong-gu plans to install high-efficiency boilers, heating and cooling facilities, and a Building Energy Management System (BEMS) to enhance energy performance.
Design services will begin this month, with construction scheduled to start in March next year. Through green remodeling, it is expected that energy performance will improve by 20-30% compared to before, leading to significant savings in heating and cooling costs.
