According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 17th, the ground surface will cool overnight, and the morning low temperatures are expected to range from 1 to 13 degrees Celsius, lower than the previous day (4 to 13 degrees). Inland areas will drop below 5 degrees, and some places in inland Gangwon and mountainous areas may experience subzero temperatures.
On the other hand, the daytime high temperatures will be between 19 and 23 degrees Celsius, resulting in a temperature difference of more than 10 degrees in most regions nationwide. The KMA stated, "The temperature difference is expected to exceed 15 degrees in the central inland, eastern Jeonbuk, and northern inland Gyeongbuk, so caution is advised for health management."
Dense fog with visibility below 200 meters is expected in some inland areas until morning. Due to smooth atmospheric dispersion, fine dust levels will be between 'Good' and 'Moderate' across all regions. Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters. Offshore wave heights are forecasted to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
