Seoul Reports 23 New COVID-19 Cases... Fourth Consecutive Day with 20s
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] On the 11th, it was announced that the number of new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Seoul increased by 23 on the 10th. The daily new confirmed cases in Seoul were 33 on the 6th, then decreased to 20 on the 7th, and have remained in the 20s for four consecutive days. As of midnight on the 11th, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul stands at 5,533.

View original imageAmong the cluster infection cases, one new confirmed case each was reported at Dobong-gu Dana Hospital (Seoul cumulative 59 cases) and Mapo-gu Seoul Design High School (cumulative 8 cases). Additionally, among the new confirmed cases, 2 were contacts of confirmed cases from other cities/provinces (cumulative 244 cases), and 11 were classified as 'Others' (cumulative 2,873 cases), which includes old cluster infections and sporadic cases. There were 4 cases under investigation with unknown infection routes (cumulative 962 cases).
