The traveling school violence prevention musical performance, in collaboration with local theater companies, will be held at 12 schools within the province this year, starting with Angolpo Elementary School on October 8.
Through this performance, it is expected to foster a social atmosphere to eradicate school violence and raise awareness of the importance of prevention, contributing to the creation of a safe school culture.
During the online performance held at Angolpo Elementary School, 5th grader Hwang Si-hyun said, “After watching the ‘Square World Square Friends’ performance, I realized that the pranks I play on my friends might be unpleasant to them, and I must never engage in cyberbullying by taking and sending photos or videos that my friends dislike.”
Teacher Lee Chan-seok said, “The content and composition suited to the students’ perspective received very positive responses from the students, and it was a program helpful in preventing school violence,” adding that he hopes such events will be held frequently in the future.
