Trump Discharged After Four Days... "Returning to Campaign Soon" (Comprehensive)
Discharge Forced Despite COVID-19 Infection
[Asia Economy New York=Correspondent Baek Jong-min] U.S. President Donald Trump was discharged from the hospital four days after being admitted with a confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
On the 5th (local time) at around 6:40 PM, President Trump walked out of Walter Reed Military Hospital, where he had been hospitalized, and got into a waiting vehicle. This was about 10 minutes later than the initially announced discharge time.
President Trump then traveled by vehicle to a nearby private helicopter and afterward headed to the White House by helicopter.
On that day, President Trump wore a mask and his walking was not significantly different from usual. He did not respond to reporters' questions but only gave a thumbs-up.
