According to the State Department, Secretary Pompeo will visit Japan, Mongolia, and South Korea over a five-day period from July 4 to 8.
On the 6th, Secretary Pompeo will visit Japan to attend the "Quad" meeting attended by the foreign ministers of the United States, Japan, India, and Australia, and will discuss mutual interests with his Japanese counterpart.
The schedule during his visit to South Korea has not been disclosed.
