The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency arrested A on the spot on charges of drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act. According to the highway patrol, at around 9:06 p.m. that day, on the 4th lane near Bupyeong IC on the Gyeongin Expressway in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, the SUV driven by A collided with a Spark vehicle that was stopped. The Spark vehicle was pushed forward and then hit a Cruze and a Santa Fe vehicle in succession.
As a result of the accident, the bride-to-be driving the Spark vehicle was injured in the face and other areas and was transported to a nearby hospital by the 119 emergency medical team.
At around 4:27 a.m. that day, Mr. B, a man in his 20s driving a rental car (K3 sedan), hit two pedestrians near the pojangmacha street in Seomyeon, Busanjin-gu, Busan, and fled the scene.

On the 27th, the Busan Busanjin Police Station announced that they arrested a 20-year-old driver B, who was intoxicated and crashed into a pojangmacha (street food tent) before fleeing, on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act and the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes (hit-and-run). Three passengers with A are also being investigated for aiding and abetting drunk driving.
According to the police, at around 4:27 a.m. that day, B, in his 20s, driving a rental car (K3 sedan) near the pojangmacha street in Seomyeon, Busanjin-gu, Busan, hit two pedestrians and fled. During the escape, B repeatedly hit eight people sitting at the outer tables of the pojangmacha.
Four people were injured in the accident and transported to the hospital. According to the police, B attempted to flee and ran about 70 meters after the accident before being caught by citizens at the scene.
Investigations revealed that both A and B were in a state of severe intoxication with blood alcohol levels exceeding the license cancellation threshold (0.08%) at the time of the accidents.
