Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority Conducts Special Inspection Ahead of Chuseok Holiday
Inspection of Fire, Facility Safety, and COVID-19 Response Status
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Cha Min-sik, hereinafter referred to as the Authority) announced on the 23rd that it conducted a special inspection of the coastal passenger terminal and Expo passenger terminal ahead of the Chuseok holiday, when returning visitors and tourists visiting the Yeosu island area are concentrated.
This special inspection, conducted to provide a safe facility environment for users by preventing the spread of COVID-19 and safety accidents, was carried out jointly by the Authority, Yeosu Gwangyang Port Management Co., Ltd., which manages the terminals, and private specialized companies.
The inspection targets included ▲ COVID-19 quarantine status and compliance with quarantine rules ▲ terminal fire-fighting facilities ▲ emergency response equipment such as automated external defibrillators ▲ other mechanical facilities.
