Hwasun-gun Offers Free 'Contactless Content' During Chuseok Holiday
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 23rd that various non-face-to-face contents owned by public cultural institutions will be provided free of charge before and after the Chuseok holiday.
This was prepared by the government to alleviate the public's fatigue due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to support non-face-to-face cultural activities.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is providing integrated guidance on 57 cultural content channels owned by 29 national and public institutions such as the National Museum of Korea, the Seoul Arts Center, and the National Theater on the ‘Stay-at-Home Cultural Life’ site.
Anyone can easily access and enjoy them for free.
In particular, for this Chuseok, new sections ‘Stay-at-Home Cultural Life’ and ‘Wise Chuseok Cultural Life’ have been added, planning Chuseok specials such as family Chuseok games, indoor exercises to enjoy at home, and 357 selections of classic Korean films, which will be newly provided from the 28th, selected by theme.
Online special cultural events for Chuseok, such as ▲Family Stay-at-Home Play Contest ▲Online Art Week ▲Online Literature Week ▲Online Hanbok Store, which the public can participate in, will also be held to foster an atmosphere of non-face-to-face cultural activities.
Through Naver TV and YouTube, special broadcasts and live streams of plays, operas, musicals, fusion gugak performances, and non-verbal plays by national institutions and private organizations will also be provided.
