Jeonnam Province Supports Free Signboards for Small Business Owners and Young Prospective Entrepreneurs
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Province announced on the 22nd that it will promote the "Jeonnam Free Signboard Support Project to Awaken Success."
This project is aimed at small business owners and young prospective entrepreneurs who have experienced business difficulties due to COVID-19, providing free replacement or installation of signboards.
The province decided to launch the project for the first time this year and will actively support a total of 45 small business owners and young prospective entrepreneurs within the province.
Signboard replacement and installation rights will be granted to advertising companies selected for excellent signboard designs at the upcoming Outdoor Advertising Exhibition next month, ensuring economic benefits also go to local advertising companies.
The project targets small business owners in the province with annual sales of 48 million won or less whose signboards are outdated, or young entrepreneurs aged 39 or younger residing in the province who have completed a youth business startup program.
Based on demand surveys from cities and counties, recipients will be selected and supported up to a maximum of 3 million won per location.
In particular, this project plans to use designs selected in the "Company Division" of the creative design category at the "18th Jeollanam-do Outdoor Advertising Exhibition" to replace actual signboards.
Marking its 18th year, the Jeollanam-do Outdoor Advertising Exhibition will be held from the 14th to the 16th of next month at the Gwangyang Community Center, featuring a design contest, awards ceremony, and exhibition of outstanding works.
Currently, design submissions are ongoing for 4 divisions across 3 categories.
Applications can be submitted in person or by email to the Jeonnam Outdoor Advertising Association by the 24th.
During the judging process, originality and creativity considering regional characteristics, material utilization, marketability, and ethics will be evaluated.
For more details, contact the Cultural Resources Division of Jeonnam Provincial Office or the Jeonnam Outdoor Advertising Association.
