[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Jung Yoon-mo, hereinafter Kibo) announced on the 22nd that it sponsored 'Dream Growth Book Lunchbox' books and the health food fruit syrup to students residing at Maesil Orphanage located in Busanjin-gu, Busan.
Dream Growth Book Lunchbox is a program that supports high-quality books for students living in orphanages who face difficulties using public libraries due to economic hardships and the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, aiming to eliminate cultural blind spots. It was awarded the Excellence Prize in Kibo's 2023 Social Contribution Excellent Idea Contest.
On the day, Kibo Auditor Park Se-gyu and head office employees delivered books and health foods and carried out disinfection and environmental cleanup volunteer activities inside and outside the orphanage. Auditor Park Se-gyu stated, "I hope this will be of some help to the orphanage students during these difficult times due to COVID-19, and that fostering a reading atmosphere and revitalizing the reading culture will help them grow into future dream trees."

Meanwhile, Kibo also donated 59,282,000 KRW, which was collected from the management's salary returns to overcome COVID-19 damages, to the Busan Community Chest of Korea to be used for supporting vulnerable groups in the local community, traditional markets, and social economy enterprises.
