Knife rampage targeting children in China... 5 injured
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Eun-byeol] Another stabbing targeting children has occurred in China, injuring five people including elementary and kindergarten students.
According to Chinese media Xin Jing Bao on the 21st (local time), around 7 a.m. that day near a kindergarten in Panyu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, a suspect wielded a knife, injuring four elementary students and one kindergarten student. The injured were taken to the hospital, and two of them are reported to be in serious condition.
The police immediately apprehended the suspect and are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.

On the 7th, near a school in central Hunan Province, four people were injured in a stabbing by a man in his 30s, and in June, at an elementary school in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the south, a security guard in his 50s wielded a knife, injuring 39 students and staff members.
