Korea National College of Agriculture and Fisheries Staff Work Hard to Help Typhoon-Damaged Farms
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Tae-in] The Korea National College of Agriculture and Fisheries conducted a 'volunteer work' to provide prompt recovery and support to farms near the college that were damaged by the 10th typhoon 'Haishen'.
On the 16th, the faculty and staff of the college visited a tomato farm in Gimje-si, Jeollabuk-do, collecting various debris and waste brought into the farm by the recent typhoon, and picking up tomatoes that had fallen due to strong winds, working hard on the restoration efforts.
Considering the COVID-19 situation, the college maintained 'social distancing' among participating staff and conducted the volunteer work in compliance with government 'quarantine guidelines'.
