Jangseong-gun Imposes Property Tax on Land and Housing Owners
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 15th that it has imposed property taxes totaling 42,798 cases amounting to 3.664 billion KRW on land and housing owners.
The subjects are residents who own land such as fields, paddies, and forests as of June 1st of this year.
Among housing and attached land owners, those whose annual tax amount exceeds 200,000 KRW are also subject to the second installment of property tax on housing.
The payment deadline has been extended from the original 30th of this month to the 5th of next month, considering the Chuseok holiday.
Taxpayers can make payments through nationwide financial institutions, ATMs, utility payment machines, the Wetax website, Nonghyup virtual accounts, or financial institution mobile apps.
Additionally, by using the newly introduced local tax account payment service from this year, taxpayers can receive a fee waiver benefit.
