IBK Investment & Securities to Offer One Type of ELS Until the 17th
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] IBK Investment & Securities announced on the 14th that it will offer equity-linked securities (ELS) to the public until the 17th.
The "IBK Investment & Securities 2630th ELS" is a principal non-guaranteed product based on the KOSPI200, Hang Seng China Enterprises Index (HSCEI), and EuroStoxx50 indices, providing a pre-tax annual return of 6% over a 3-year maturity period.
There are a total of five early redemption opportunities every six months until maturity. On the automatic early redemption evaluation dates, if the closing prices of two underlying assets are at least 90% of the initial reference price (at 6 and 12 months), 85% (at 18 and 24 months), or 80% (at 30 months), a pre-tax annual return of 6.0% is paid.
Additionally, if the maturity reference prices are all at least 75% of the initial reference price, or if the prices have never fallen below 50% of the initial reference price until maturity, a pre-tax annual return of 6.0% is also possible. However, if any underlying asset's maturity reference price is below 75% of the initial reference price and the price has fallen below 50% of the initial reference price during the investment period, principal loss may occur.
