Russia Sends Over 20,000 Tons of Wheat to North Korea "Typhoon Damage Support"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] It has been reported that Russia has provided 25,000 tons of wheat to North Korea as humanitarian aid.
The Russian Embassy in Pyongyang announced on the 12th (local time) via its official Facebook account that 25,000 tons of wheat were recently transported to Nampo Port. The unloading operations will take place at the outer port located 12 km from the Nampo West Sea Dam. The embassy also added that all crew members involved in the unloading will be quarantined for two weeks.
North Korean authorities have expressed deep gratitude for Russia's support amid significant damage caused by recent typhoons.
