Suncheon-si Conducts Global Creator Training Program
The Era of One-Person Media: Fostering Talent and Youth Entrepreneurship through Media Content Education
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City (Mayor Heo Seok) is conducting the ‘2020 Global Creator Training Education’ to nurture the first generation of global creators representing Suncheon.
Global creators are creators who work on the global stage through various media platforms by creating photos or videos, and are a representative form of jobs in the digital nomad era where income generation is possible with basic digital equipment without time or location constraints.
The training period will be held from the 9th of next month to November 27, totaling 20 sessions, with 20 hours of theory and 12 hours of practice, totaling 32 hours. The training content includes video shooting and editing techniques, sharing case studies of changes in revenue models and presenting visions, the ecosystem of creators, and revenue structures.
In particular, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, all training courses will be conducted as non-face-to-face online lectures.
Anyone aged 19 or older who is a citizen of Suncheon can participate, and applications along with required documents must be submitted via email by the 23rd.
A Suncheon City official said, “We expect to create new jobs through nurturing talent in the media content field, which brings high ripple effects relative to investment, and to utilize it for local company products and city promotion.”
