Prosecutors Conduct Search and Seizure at LIG to Secure Tax Documents
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghoon Jeong] The prosecution has conducted a search and seizure at LIG Group.
According to the prosecution on the 8th, the Tax Crime Division of the Seoul Northern District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Han Taehwa) sent prosecutors and investigators to the offices of LIG Group's holding company, LIG headquarters, located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, to secure tax-related documents.
It is reported that the prosecution launched the investigation this year following a complaint from the National Tax Service. Last year, the National Tax Service initiated a special tax audit on LIG Group.
