[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yongsan-gu Public Health Center (Director Choi Jaewon) will distribute an additional 134,000 masks to 6,937 low-income households (8,888 people) in the area.
This is to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
At the beginning of this month, the health center purchased 200,000 KF masks, of which 134,000 were delivered to 16 community service centers. The distribution targets are recipients of the National Basic Livelihood Security and the near-poor class, with 15 masks allocated per person.

Director Choi Jaewon of the health center said, “We have stepped up mask support to prevent the spread of infectious diseases in the fall season,” adding, “The remaining stock will be reserved for medical staff or additionally distributed to residents if necessary.”
