On the 4th, news broke that Jeon Ji-hyun sold her house in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul for 13 billion won.
It was reported that Jeon Ji-hyun signed a contract on the 3rd to sell her house in the Hyundai Housing Complex in Samseong-dong for 13 billion won.
On June 17, as part of the housing market stabilization measures, four neighborhoods near the International Exchange Complex District, including Samseong-dong, were designated as land transaction permission zones.
In this area, residential land over 18㎡ can only be purchased for actual residence purposes, and buyers cannot sell or lease the property for two years.
The house Jeon Ji-hyun sold was built in February 2016, with one basement floor and two above-ground floors (total floor area 671.5㎡, 203.12 pyeong).
Jeon Ji-hyun purchased this house in June 2014 for 7.5 billion won, demolished it in April 2015, and rebuilt it. The official price rose from 2.41 billion won in January 2014 when she bought it, to 3.09 billion won in June 2016 after reconstruction, and 5.881 billion won in January 2020. The reconstruction costs were not disclosed.
