[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jung-gu, Seoul (Mayor Seoyangho) is simultaneously conducting an event on the district's official Facebook and Instagram until the 15th, sharing 'My Own Routine to Keep Safety' in daily life during COVID-19.
The event was planned to encourage residents who may be exhausted from the prolonged COVID-19 situation by sharing personal safety habits that individuals are well maintaining, promoting wise living during the pandemic.
Anyone with an SNS account can participate in the event.
The participation method is simple. First, visit Jung-gu's official Facebook or Instagram, like the event post, follow the account, and then leave a comment sharing your small personal habit, such as "Since the COVID-19 situation started, I always carry hand sanitizer when going out."
The district plans to prioritize selecting 50 final winners by drawing lots from netizens who leave witty comments, tag friends, or share the post on multiple SNS platforms, and will present prizes.
From the first day of the event, hundreds of comments have been posted, showing enthusiastic responses. Shared stories range from disinfecting wallets, phones, and door handles after going out becoming as natural a habit as brushing teeth, to finding comfort by caring for houseplants to relieve the frustration of staying at home, reflecting healthy attitudes positively overcoming the anxious situation.
Two winners who share the most safety habits will receive department store gift certificates, while eight winners of the Maximum Support Award and forty winners of the Wonderful Routine Award will receive mobile cultural gift certificates.
The winners will be announced on September 21.
Jung-gu continues to operate a blog created together with residents through various SNS, delivering overall district news as well as sharing certified photo spots and popular restaurants from the residents' perspective, appealing to users with attractive content and gaining popularity.
