Mokpo National University, Naman Campus Production-Type Startup Support Center Recruiting Resident Companies
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The Startup Incubation Center at Mokpo National University (President Park Min-seo) announced on the 1st that it is recruiting capable small and medium-sized venture companies to move into the Production-type Startup Support Center located on the Namak Campus (2540 Namak-ri, Samhyang-eup, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do) until the 25th.
The recruitment targets are small and medium-sized venture companies with a sales revenue of over 300 million KRW last year for manufacturing businesses, and over 200 million KRW last year for service industries. However, companies that emit harmful air pollutants, specific water pollutants, noise or dust, companies related to hazardous chemicals, industries restricted under Article 4 of the Enforcement Decree of the Small and Medium Enterprise Startup Support Act, and industries allowed only in Type 1 Neighborhood Living Facilities under Article 3, Paragraph 1 of the Building Act Enforcement Decree are not eligible to apply.
The spaces available for occupancy are factory-type and office-type spaces located on floors 1 to 6 of the Production-type Startup Support Center, and a total of 34 companies will be recruited: 10 for factory rooms and 24 for office rooms.
The maximum occupancy period is 20 years, with annual renewals. Occupying companies will pay a monthly national property usage fee of 17,000 KRW per 3.3㎡ and a monthly management fee of 5,000 KRW per 3.3㎡.
Additionally, management fees are collected differentially by year, and public utility charges (electricity, water, city gas, telephone, internet, etc.) are borne by each occupying company based on actual costs. Fire insurance premiums must be paid once a year.
Support benefits for occupying companies include free use of shared business support spaces within the Production-type Startup Support Center, such as exhibition and promotion rooms, conference rooms, seminar rooms, lounges, and training rooms. However, warehouse and convention hall usage are charged.
Furthermore, shared spaces supporting work and life balance (work and life balance) such as a caf? lounge, fitness room, shower and changing rooms, and indoor garden are provided free of charge. Parking is free, and heating and cooling (system air conditioning) facilities are provided as standard in the occupancy spaces.
The final selection of occupying companies will be decided through a fair review by the POST-BI Occupying Company Review Committee under the Startup Incubation Center after the application deadline.
