Life Insurance Association Selects 300 'Golden Fellow' Top Insurance Planners
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] The Life Insurance Association announced on the 31st that it has selected those who meet strict criteria among the 2020 Life Insurance Excellent Certified Agents as 'Golden Fellows.'
As of the end of last year, the association comprehensively evaluated registration period, contract retention rate, and company contribution among 13,839 excellent certified agents, which account for about 15% of the 92,211 exclusive life insurance agents and other candidates, and finally selected 300 individuals.
Among the 300 selected as Golden Fellows, 27.7% were certified for two consecutive times. Those certified for three consecutive times accounted for 18.3%, and agents who have been certified for four consecutive times since 2017 make up 10.7% of the total.
The average registration period is 19.1 years, the 13th installment retention rate is 98.4%, and the 25th installment retention rate is 94.6%. In particular, the association explained that the average annual income was 256.28 million KRW, showing efficiency and productivity about 2.6 times higher compared to excellent certified agents.
