JB Financial Renames Vietnamese Securities Firm to 'JB Securities Vietnam'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] JB Financial Group announced on the 31st that it will change the name of its Vietnamese subsidiary, 'Morgan Stanley Gateway Securities (MSGS),' to 'JB Securities Vietnam (JBSV)' and relaunch it.
Recently, it obtained approval for the name change from the Vietnamese regulatory authorities and completed all necessary approval procedures to commence operations.
The newly launched JBSV has been incorporated as a subsidiary of Gwangju Bank. It plans to focus on discovering promising investment opportunities such as real estate development in the Vietnamese financial market and linking them to domestic and overseas investors. Additionally, it will concentrate on corporate finance (IB) businesses, including arranging convertible bonds (CB), bonds with warrants (BW), corporate bond issuance for local companies, as well as mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory services.
