Hanwha Group Petrochemical 3 Companies, Training Big Data Experts
[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] Hanwha Total, Hanwha Solutions Chemical Division, and Hanwha General Chemical, leading Hanwha Group's petrochemical business, have completed in-house training to cultivate digital specialists.
According to Hanwha Group on the 31st, the three petrochemical companies of Hanwha Group conducted a digital academy training program for about nine months starting from November last year, targeting 42 employees.
The Digital Academy is aimed at employees in roles where big data can be utilized in practice, including engineers responsible for managing key processes in petrochemical plants, as well as marketing and raw material purchasing staff. It is an educational program jointly developed by the three petrochemical companies of Hanwha Group to cultivate specialists.
Hanwha Group expects that once the employees who completed this training return to their work, they will gradually produce results by applying big data to actual tasks such as process improvement, quality control, profit and loss forecasting, and safety management using the various data accumulated within the company.
