Hwasun-gun Recruiting Students for 'Online Lifelong Learning Courses'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 28th that it will recruit students to participate in online lifelong learning courses until the 9th of next month.
The county decided to switch to online courses that are not affected by external environmental constraints as the resumption of existing face-to-face courses became uncertain due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
This education program consists of three courses: ▲Self-directed Learning Coaching Instructor ▲Leather Craft Expert ▲Basic Conversational English.
Each course focuses on strengthening job competencies and acquiring professional qualifications with the goal of talent donation for employment, entrepreneurship, and mentoring future generations.
The courses will start on the 15th of next month and selection will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
The courses utilize online tools such as real-time video platforms and student communities throughout the entire process including assignment submission, questions, and continuing education.
Therefore, to participate in the courses, students must have an environment with internet and Wi-Fi access and at least one device such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
For courses requiring practical training, practice material kits will be provided in advance, and learners’ achievements will be exhibited online after completion.
