[Photo] Yongsan Bogwang Central Church Donates COVID-19 Prevention Supplies
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Bokwang Central Church (Senior Pastor Kim Byung-bok), located in Yongsan-gu, donated 10,000 sets of quarantine supplies to the Yongsan Welfare Foundation (Chairman Lee Sang-yong) on the 27th.
This was to support overcoming the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The delivery ceremony was held at the Yongsan District Office, attended by District Mayor Seong Jang-hyun, Senior Pastor Kim Byung-bok of Bokwang Central Church, Secretary-General Choi Hyuk-gyun of the Yongsan Welfare Foundation, Bokwang-dong Chief Lee Gye-jung, and seven others.
The foundation will deliver the donated items (cotton masks, replacement filters, hand sanitizers) to the Bokwang-dong Community Service Center, which will redistribute them to low-income residents in the area.
Senior Pastor Kim Byung-bok said, "Due to redevelopment, we will soon have to part ways with the residents," adding, "We prepared these supplies with a heavy heart."
