Police Summon Lim Seul-ong for Second Investigation in Pedestrian Death Accident Due to Jaywalking
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] Lim Seul-ong (33), a singer and actor formerly of the group 2AM, who caused a fatal accident by hitting a pedestrian jaywalking while driving on a rainy night, has undergone a second police investigation.
On the 26th, the Seoul Western Police Station announced that they summoned and questioned Lim, who was booked the previous day on suspicion of violating the Special Act on Traffic Accident Handling, and then released him.
On the 1st, around 11:50 PM, Lim was driving an SUV on a road in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, when he struck a man, Mr. A, who was jaywalking against a red light at a crosswalk. Mr. A was taken to a nearby hospital but died. Investigations confirmed that Lim had not consumed alcohol at the time of the accident.
