Damyang-gun Promotes 'Senior Career Job Project'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 24th that it is promoting the 'Damyang-type New Middle-aged Career Job Project' to socially utilize retired middle-aged professionals and support job opportunities.
The participants are unemployed individuals aged 50 to under 70 with more than 3 years of experience in their respective professional fields. Currently, 10 residents are participating in the project, sharing their experiences with the local community.
One participant who retired as a daycare center director is engaged in child care activities such as reading guidance and sharing thoughts at a local children's center. Another participant with business operation experience provides management consulting to young entrepreneurs and local small business owners. They independently carry out various activities suited to their careers in fields such as agriculture, child and elderly care, and management consulting.
Participation can be applied for by visiting or calling the Integrated Job Support Center for consultation.
