Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants Supports Heavy Rain Damage...Donates 200 Million Won in Disaster Relief Fund
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji-hwan Park] The Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants announced on the 24th that it will donate 200 million won in disaster relief funds in the name of over 23,000 CPA members to help flood victims affected by the heavy rains.
Of the disaster relief funds, 100 million won will be directly donated to the Seoul branch of the Korean Red Cross, and the remaining 100 million won will be donated in amounts of 20 million won each to the Korean Red Cross branches in the respective regions through the local chapters of the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Busan, Daejeon, Daegu, Gwangju, Jeonbuk).
The donated disaster relief funds will be used by the Korean Red Cross for disaster relief activities such as providing relief supplies to neighbors affected by disasters nationwide.
