[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Yulhee, wife of FT Island’s Choi Min-hwan and singer, asked fans to refrain from visiting their home.
On the 21st, Yulhee posted on her SNS, "This is a somewhat delicate topic, but I am writing this due to my family’s concerns," and added, "We are very grateful to the many people who support us. However, I would like to ask a few individuals who personally come to our home to refrain from doing so beyond that support."
She said, "It seems like some come to see us around the time Jaeyul finishes daycare. Normally, I would happily greet them with joy, but currently, due to COVID-19, many people are anxious, and we are also trying to avoid unnecessary outings and minimize contact with outsiders as much as possible," adding, "As parents raising children and for everyone’s health, I hope we can all practice social distancing together."
Previously, Yulhee married FT Island’s Choi Min-hwan. The couple appeared with their son Jaeyul on KBS2’s 'The Men Who Do Housework 2.'
Below is the full text of Yulhee’s post.
Hello everyone!
This is a somewhat delicate topic, but I am writing this due to my family’s concerns.
We are very thankful to the many people who support us! However, I would like to ask a few individuals who personally come to our home to refrain from doing so beyond that support.
It seems like some come to see us around the time Jaeyul finishes daycare... Normally, I would happily greet them with joy, but currently, due to COVID-19, many people are anxious, and we are also trying to avoid unnecessary outings and minimize contact with outsiders as much as possible.
As parents raising children and for everyone’s health, I hope we can all practice social distancing together.
We are very grateful for your affection, but despite multiple requests, such incidents still happen today, so I am sharing this message to express my discomfort.
I hope we can all work together for everyone’s health and safety!
